Nederlandse bijdrage ISAR-congres 2020

Recent vond het negende - maar eerste virtuele - congres van de International Society of Arthroplasty Registers (ISAR) plaats. Het werd dit jaar georganiseerd vanuit Australië. Met zo’n 200 deelnemers vanuit de hele wereld was het een groot succes. Nederland was vertegenwoordigd bij de online presentaties en de posterpresentaties.

Presentaties
  • Rachid Rassir: Increased short-term septic revision and secondary patellar resurfacing in obese patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty: a report of 121,819 primary procedures from the Dutch Arthroplasty Register 
  • Rinne Peters: ASA score and BMI were the strongest predictors for short-term revision after primary total hip arthroplasty 
  • Rinne Peters: Which patients improve most after total hip arthroplasty? Influence of patient characteristics on Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) of 22,357 THAs in the Dutch Arthroplasty Register (LROI)

  • Anneke Spekenbrink: No difference in revision rate after primary total knee arthroplasty with or without patella component
